Ding Dong...Avon calling. But don't be fooled this isn't the Avon your mom's and grandma's knew. It's expanding in leaps and bounds...and more popular than ever.

With Reese Witherspoon, Derek Jeter and more celebs to come, all promoting Avon products and their own lines....well I think that says it all.

Okay, lets start with the good stuff. We're currently in Campaign 14 and orders will be due by July 7th.

Now here's the cool part. Avon has started a test group, including yours truly, and you can view the brochures via the links provided. You can see the links for the newest Avon Brochures listed at the top of "Avon Calling.

When the brochures open you'll see the last 2 options on the top right side of the pages - 1 is to email me, and also includes my phone number (once you open the page) if you feel more comfortable doing it that way. The second one is to contact your friends and freely distribute the brochures to them as well.

When you're placing an order here's the info that I'll need: the page # of the product you want (and which brochure it's in), product description and the product number (which is the 6 digit number following the product description in the brochure).

By all means don't hesitate or worry about inundating me with friends and family who are interested in Avon...that's what I'm here for to share in the fun and excitement of Avon and everything it has to offer.

And be sure to keep checking back...I have a lot of fun things in store. Contests, freebies, you name it. In this rep's Avon world it's about more than just makeup and fashion. It's about fun and friends too. Isn't that what us girls are best at?

It's Contest Time!

It's going to run for 2 campaigns - Campaign 15 & 16.

Alright here's how it's going to go. There will be 3 prize winners:
1st place will receive a swag bag filled with over $100.00 worth of awesome Avon products!!!

2nd and 3rd Place will receive a $10.00 credit to use toward your next Avon order.

Refer 3 (or more) friends to have me as their Avon rep. If 3 of your referrals order $20.00 or more YOU WIN!!!

The winners will be determined by who gets their referrals in first.

Just a couple of points to keep in mind:
- Remember to make sure that anyone you've referred to me tells me it was you who sent them. I'll need to know so I can keep track of who's winning.
- Make sure anyone who is placing an order knows that they need to pick it up from me (or from you if those arrangements are easier - that's your call). And that to compensate for the fact that I can't bring them their orders - their orders will always be tax free!

The contest will end at midnight on Saturday, August 2nd.

So that's about it. 3 referrals who order $20.00 or more each and the sooner they order, the better your chances of winning 1st place.

It's Almost Time...

AVON SKIN SO SOFT....More Uses Than You Think!

Okay, here's the truth of it - I'm an Avon junkie so it only made sense for me to become an Avon lady. So yes, I get pretty passionate about the products and all the different things that I find out. And yes, it's likely that there will be days when you'll find more than one post here.

Anyway, that being said....you guys have got to check out this list of all the different uses for Avon's Skin So Soft (although I'm sure there's likely more. I've tried at least 80% of these ideas myself and they work! And as noted at the end of the list, it's on sale this campaign - the perfect time to try it out.

1. Helps relieve itching created by insect bites and dry skin.

2. An excellent insect repellant for people and their pets (good for fleas also).
3. Sponge it on screen and around doors, windows to keep crawling bugs, as well as flies and mosquitoes out.
4. Use as an after shower moisturizer.
5. Can be used to remove makeup.
6. A suntan oil (note: it doesn’t contain sunscreen)
7. Pour a little in the water of your foot bath to help moisturize your feet while you relax them.
8. A hot oil treatment to soften nails.
9. Great to use as a massage oil for those overworked, sore muscles.
10. A good wood cleaner, conditioner and polish for natural wood.
11. Removes chewing gum from hair, skin and most non-porous surfaces.
12. Removes glue and gum left from price tags and labels from glass, metal and most plastics.
13. Cleans tape marks left by bandages from skin.
14. Cleans ink from skin and most vinyl and painted surfaces.
15. Gently cleans HEAVY grease and oil from skin and non-porous surfaces (great for mechanics' hands).
16. Removes soap scum from shower doors, shower curtains, windows and bathroom and kitchen fixtures.
17. Remove lime and hard water deposits from windows, fixtures, shower doors and tile.
18. Removes tar spots from car finishes without damaging paint finish.
19. An oil lubricant for fitting pipe joints that won't slip together as easily as they used to.
20. Removes paint and stain from skin -- much gentler than turpentine.
21. Removes scuff marks from patent leather shoes.
22. Two glass bowls or glasses stuck together? Drizzle a little SSS down sides and they'll come apart easily -- no breakage.
23. Wipe down vinyl surfaces inside your car. Cleans these nicely and leaves car fresh smelling.
24. Works great to shine your car’s tires
25. Prior to traveling rub SSS on headlights/grill to make insects and bugs easier to remove.
26. Use a towel, face cloth etc. absorbed in SSS as a car air freshener.
27. Rub on brass ornaments or figurines to help keep them from turning dark.
28. Removes crayon from appliances and most painted surfaces.
29. Use small amount to clean leather; it will also keep it soft and supple.
